All our trainers have a passion for sharing their First Aid knowledge in an entertaining and informative way. We believe that knowing what First Aid to do in a medical emergency is one of the most important skills a person can have at work, at home or at play.

Nationally Accredited courses are recognized qualifications that require a certain level of knowledge, literacy, numeracy and language skills. We are happy to help our students learn to KNOW what to do and can provide specialist help or just extra assistance if required. First Aid is for everyone, so please feel free to contact us if you need a bit of help.

Description: Provides participants with the skills and knowledge to understand the safety requirements when handling an Automatic External Defibrillator (AED), as well as the skills to use an AED within the first minutes after a cardiac arrest, as well as skills and knowledge to safely perform oxygen therapy and resuscitation in the workplace.

Cost: $110 per participant (Group pricing available)
Time: 5 hours face-to-face training.

Advanced First Aid

Applies to workers who may be required to provide, coordinate and manage a first aid response across a range of complex situations, including community and workplace settings.

Time: 16 hours face-to-face training.

Remote First Aid

Description: Provides the knowledge and skills to perform First Aid in remote situations. This course teaches the skills and knowledge required to provide First Aid response; life support; management of person(s), the incident and other first aiders in remote situations until handed over to medical or other assistance.

Time: This is a two day face to face course with a heavy emphasis on practical hands on exercises, plus pre-work

Wilderness First Aid

This Wilderness First Aid skill set is an ideal course for those that work in the outdoors. Tourism providers, trades that work in remote location, mining industry and regional council workers could all benefit from this course.
Aligned to the National Skill Set SISSS00108 ‘Wilderness First Aid’. Successful completion awards participants with the following Nationally Accredited Units of Competency.

Wilderness First Responder

“The essence of Wilderness First Aid may rest not initially in the treatment of the casualty but in the necessity to first locate them”.

Because Search & Rescue is a fundamental requirement for Wilderness First Aiders we have developed this course, unique in Australia, to include specific training in search & rescue, communications systems and equipment, evacuation and emergency response coordination.

Wilderness First Responder (WFR) is a practical 4 day course held in a REMOTE AREA that will equip you with the required skills and knowledge to cope with remote incidents. It covers all the elements in challenging realistic scenarios that pull all these skills together. At least one scenario will be night based. This course will challenge your knowledge and decision making skills.

In addition to the Wilderness First Aid Skillset, you will receive: 

  • PUAOPE002B Operate communications systems and equipment
  • SISOOPS407A Apply search and rescue skills

Cost: $895* (*$695 for persons with pre-requisite knowledge)
