Nationally Accredited courses are recognised qualifications that require a certain level of knowledge, literacy, numeracy and language skills. We are happy to help our students learn to KNOW what to do and can provide specialist help or just extra assistance if required. Description: This course provides all of the skills and knowledge required to perform Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) in line with the Australian Resuscitation Council Guidelines.

Provide First Aid
PROVIDE FIRST AID – HLTAID011 (INCLUDING CPR HLTAID009)
This course provides participants with the knowledge and confidence to administer first aid care and treatment in the workplace or in personal situations. Provide first aid covers adults, children & babies in a wide range of emergency situations.
Previously known as Apply first aid and Senior first aid.
Provide first aid is also refered to as the workplace level 2 in line with the Australian Standards for the workplace first aider. Provide First Aid is renewed every 3 years.

First Aid in Education and Care Setting
Provide an Emergency First Aid Response in an Education and Care Setting – HLTAID012
Description: Covers the skills and knowledge required to provide a first aid response to infants, children and adults. Applies to educators and support staff working within an education and care setting who are required to respond to a first aid emergency, including asthmatic and anaphylactic emergencies.

One of the most important skills sets a parent could arm themselves with is First Aid. It can help with any situation from the simplest fall to a more serious accident, and your preparedness to act could make the difference between an accident and a tragedy.
Knowing First Aid and what to do will give you the confidence to make the correct choice in a bad situation and possibly save a life. This non-accredited course is aimed specifically at Parents, Baby-sitters and family members caring for young loved ones.
For less than $50 and 2½ hours of your time, it may just be the best investment you ever make.

First Aid For Seniors
This non accredited course is specifically aimed at the elderly and those who care for them. It can be run at an aged care facility or group venue as an entertaining and informative session for seniors or more in depth for those who care for them
Elderly adults have special concerns when they are being treated for injuries or health issues. You should consider their unique needs when performing first aid.
Assisting elders who are frail or have trouble with mobility takes extra thought and care. Seniors first aid requires gentleness and compassion. Many elders have some dementia or can be confused or scared.

Advanced Resuscitation
Provide Advanced Resuscitation – HLTAID015
Description: Provides participants with the skills and knowledge to understand the safety requirements when handling an Automatic External Defibrillator (AED), as well as the skills to use an AED within the first minutes after a cardiac arrest, as well as skills and knowledge to safely perform oxygen therapy and resuscitation in the workplace.

Wilderness First Aid
SISSS00108 – Wilderness First Aid Skillset
This Wilderness First Aid skill set is an ideal course for those that work in the outdoors. Tourism providers, trades that work in remote location, mining industry and regional council workers could all benefit from this course.

Wilderness First Responder
“The essence of Wilderness First Aid may rest not initially in the treatment of the casualty but in the necessity to first locate them”.
Because Search & Rescue is a fundamental requirement for Wilderness First Aiders we have developed this course, unique in Australia, to include specific training in search & rescue, communications systems and equipment, evacuation and emergency response coordination.
Wilderness First Aid Responder (WFR)is a practical 4 day course held in a REMOTE AREA that will equip you with the required skills and knowledge to cope with remote incidents. It covers all the elements in challenging realistic scenarios that pull all these skills together. At least one scenario will be night based. This course will challenge your knowledge and decision making skills.
